Mentoring session for Bethany and Armond

I am in love with doing mentoring sessions these days! We just have so much fun. Bethany and her husband Armond came to see me from the great state of Texas and I am so grateful to them for spending the time and money to come and see me. I seriously had so much fun with them and they are going to be an unstoppable force! It kinda made me wish my husband would pick up a camera and learn how to use it:)Can you imagine having two hands on every session?!! A girl can dream….
A huge thanks to our makeup artist Ixchel Fairbanks who did an amazing job of dolling up our model for this shoot. You can check out more of her work and makeup tutorials here. Oh, and I may or may not have chased our model down in the mall with my son in a stroller and my poor 4 year old daughter running beside me……I was that smitten with her! And she did am amazing job! Enjoy!

Some snowy family pictures

I am on a roll! My blog has been so neglected the past few months. So I am trying to do better. Ever since we moved to Arizona the seasons don’t seem like they exist at all. I enjoy being in the sunshine right now but we wanted a little piece of winter in our home to make it feel like winter. So my sweet friend Nicole Klinger came and snapped a few family pictures of us out in the snow while we were in Idaho for Christmas. Then before we left I took my kids out for a quick little shoot in front of this darling old truck. My amazingly talented mom made Paisley’s dress and of course Miss Ruby Sue made her hat. It was sooooo cold! They were such troopers. We were only out for about 5 minutes and everyone’s poor little fingers and toes were freezing. But we got a few and that was all that I needed. So glad my sweet kids endured the cold for me:)
